Location Data

We collect real-time location data when you enable location tracking. This helps your Muallem and group members coordinate during Hajj activities.

• Ritual progress and completion status
• App usage patterns and preferences
• Device information and IP address
• Communication within groups

Payment Information

Payment data is processed through secure payment gateways. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

• To provide and maintain our Service

• With Your Muallem: Your profile and location data with your assigned guide

• Emergency Services: In case of medical emergencies

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

7. Data Retention

We retain different categories of user data for the following periods:

• Account profile data (name, email, phone, date of birth, gender, country): retained while your account is active, plus up to 90 days after account deletion to comply with audit and anti-fraud obligations.
• Passport and visa information: retained only for the duration of the active Hajj or Umrah journey and deleted within 30 days after the journey end date.
• Real-time location data: retained for up to 30 days from collection for safety and group coordination, then permanently deleted.
• Group chat messages: retained while the group exists and deleted within 30 days after the group is closed.
• Payment records and receipts: retained for 5 years as required by Saudi tax and accounting law.
• Aggregate, de-identified analytics may be retained indefinitely for service improvement and cannot be linked back to you.

When the applicable retention period ends, the data is automatically deleted from our active databases and removed from encrypted backups within the next backup-rotation cycle (no longer than 30 days).

8. How to Delete Your Data

You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time, free of charge, by either of the following methods:

• By email: Send a deletion request to ab@hoor.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line "Delete My Account".
• Online: Submit a request at https://mabror.ab-hoor.com/delete-account.html.

We process all deletion requests within 14 days. After that period, all personal data we hold about you will be deleted from production systems, except where we are required to retain specific records by law (for example, payment records under Saudi tax law — see Section 7). Such legally-retained records are kept in restricted-access archival storage and are not used for any other purpose.

You may also request, free of charge, a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting ab@hoor.com. We respond to access requests within 30 days.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data is primarily stored and processed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international transfers.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy and updating the "Last updated" date.
